An impressive long Swiss 19th century cast iron table with a thick marble top - the base has the remains of it's original paint which has a lovely patina - the manufacturer's name is cast into the medallions that form part of the tables construction - PAQUET ET FRERES A GRENOBLE. The top is a fabulous piece of  thick creamy beige coloured marble. A wooden foot rail has been added in the past which just adds to its uniqueness. An elegant dining table for that conservatory or in the garden for summer lunches  - divine! Circa 1890
