An exquisite 18th century French 'Buffet a Deux Corps' - original locks, hindges and keys.  Beautiful panelled back - entirely hand made by craftsmen of the time. The colour of the exterior - a creamy white is certainly original. The amazing colour on the interior appeared when scraping off the later layers of interior paint - in my opinion this incredible colour could also be original so it seemed legitimate to leave it.....  The superbly shaped shelves with a pull-out 'slide' below are more of this rare piece's historic features. Circa 1760
