Small but utterly charming French 19th century Still Life of Bread and Cheese - oil on canvas - in good conditon with just one tiny patch on the back. Not signed or dated but undoubtedly painted by someone with talent. Some small missing pieces from the inner trim on the oak frame. An educated guess, taking into account the age evident on the back of the canvas, I would say it would be circa 1830....
