18th century Italian pine Campaign Chest on Chest - probably used to take things like maps etc for the officers. This one has all its original features, like handles and locks - and it retains some of its lovely old paint......amazingly its very clean inside so very suitable to store clothes, linen etc. Circa 1780 or earlier.
